TYPE FL 13 - CENTRIFUGAL BLOWER HEATERS
Application
These models incorporate a fan speed control which provides continuously variable air volumes between max. & min.
speeds. Noise levels of the fan are relatively low, enabling these fan heaters to be used for comfort heating
and ventilation in a variety of commercial and industrial situations as well as process heating applications. |
Rating and Performance
These units have available a strong bracket for mounting to wall or ceiling and if desired, can be coupled
to a duct system.
- Every FL 13 Blower Heater incorporates the following features. . .
- Powerful 2.5 amp 240 volt electric motor, delivering up to 2400 m3/hr.
- Fan speed control unit, enabling the volume of air delivered to be continuously varied down to 700m³/hr
approx. This also varies air throw and air temperature (when used in heating mode).
- Over-temperature safety cutout and manual reset button. (Temperature of intake air should not exceed
50° C.)
- Optional swivel mounting to wall/ceiling bracket enables unit to pivot in horizontal plane.
- Contactors and complete internal wiring.
- Finned air heating elements for rapid heat dissipation, Elements rated at 240V for 3 phase, 4 wire star
connection.
- 700mm long x 450mm high x 360mm wide and weighs approx. 30kg.
- Optional wall/ceiling bracket measures 550mm x 300mm x 90mm Cat No. FL0100.
- Air throw of FL 13 blowers at maximum speed is approximately 20m.

TYPE BJ09 - AXIAL FAN HEATERS |
Application
BJ09 heaters provide a very low initial cost per installed kilowatt, create minimum draught but have maximum
resistance to physical impact (school halls, sports area, etc.). Whilst ideal for on/off operation in "fix
and forget" installations, their simplicity means that they can also be flexibly employed in many industrial
heating situations. Remote control may be achieved with the RU5600 separate control module. |
Rating and Performance
Blower heaters in this series are of heavy duty robust construction, are simple to operate and havethe
following features. . .
Fixed speed axial fan power by a 415 volt motor.
Delivers approximately 2250 cubic metres of air per hour under free air conditions..
Over-temperature safety cutoutwith automatic reset is included.
Fitted with adjustable front grille and protective rear grille.
Finned air heating elements for rapid heat dissipation. Elements rated at 240 volts for 3 phase, 4 wire
star connection.
Pairs of brackets available (optional extras) for mounting either to wall (Cat. No. FG09), or ceiling with
heater inverted (Cat. No. FG08).
Whilst normally used with an on/off switch, these units lend themselves to connection through a thermostat
and contactor for specific applications.
Dimensions 400mm long x 580mm high, 432mm wide.
Weight 24 kg approximately.
Air throw of BJ09 Blower Heaters is approximately 12 metres, resulting from a constant air velocity of
4.6 metres/sec.
